There is no sign of him slowing down anytime soon, as he continues to become more and more efficient as his career goes on, he has slowly dipped in scoring this last year, but has increased in rebounding and assisting, as well as his steals. The numbers this man has put up, to go with the things he has accomplished at such a young age with still time left to add to his resume are the determining factor as to why he is the greatest player of all
He is wonderful on the court but even better when it comes to preaching. I used to would go to church and be shy, but when I see him getting ready to preach I have to stand up and just clap a little bit. God has blessed him in many ways than one. He is a very intelligent and funny man one would love to be around him all the time. He is the type of man who loves to be around his family and would do anything for
He is known for his winning and success with his teams. But he has also impacted so many people in a positive way. By developing players not only as basketball players but also as people. He is a very generous man who has shared his wealth with other charities and has made many donations to schools and other organizations. He has won citizen ship awards for his actions and is a very well-liked and important part of his community.
Today, when I woke up, I felt an odd feeling. It was a mixture of profound proudness and desperate sadness. Today, was the day we said our goodbyes and grieved as we laid our brother and friend to rest in his decorated coffin of Navy Seal emblems reflecting off of the sunshine. For me, personally, it was a day where I said goodbye to my best friend, first man of my wedding and godfather of my children, Lieutenant Dave Johnson. As we surrounded the grieving family who just lost their 27 year old son, who died one week earlier, battling for his life in the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Lucy Snowe, we learn, is a twelve year old young lady whose guardian has a "nice looking house in the perfect town of Bretton." Lucy Snowe visits her god parent twice per year, remaining with her alone and with no one of her own family. Later, this town of Bretton is entirely in England. Lucy's godmother has an indistinguishable name from the town she lives with her adolescent child. Lucy enjoys staying in the place of the Brettons; however she doesn't appear to expect love or general support the family, just to be endured respectably.
Beginnings: My full name is Rachel(Rae) Noel Aikman. I am still 12 and I will be for a while because I was born on August 22, 2004.
The buzzer going off, the crowd cheering, for the first time in school history, Trinty Clinton Township are state chapions. That team made history, acheiving far more than what any spartan was thought possible, but this team accomplished far more than a state championship. There has been Trinity greats that have made a mark in the Trinity basketball program history. I knew, this being my last year at trinity, that I had had mighty big shoes to fill if I also wanted to make a perminet mark at trinity. "The differance between successful people and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will"- Vince Lambardi.
The time I almost got cut from the basketball team.the first day of tryouts I didn’t come because I didn’t have my physical at the time.but when I got it I was there and lots of people were and only fifteen could qualify. On the first day all we had to do was shoot and show our form. But we did do something a little fun you had to get a partner and perform some moves on him. So the coach said “go” me and my partner which was Robert.
The Golden State Warriors have broke the Chicago Bulls for the NBA record of most wins in a single season. The Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 125 to 104 on Wednesday, April 13 in California and broke the record that was set in 1995-96 by the Bulls. The Warriors finished with a record of 73 wins and 9 losses this season and are now playing in the playoffs. Stephen Curry also hit his 400th three-pointer during his last regular season game breaking his old record from last season. Hopefully the Golden State Warriors will continue to play as well as they are so they can become back to back champions.
Everyone has different points of views on different subjects. This could range from a simple object to a complex idea; whatever the concept might be, everything will be viewed differently depending on the person viewing it. When it comes to sports, millions of people generate different views of a given sport. A good example is when the Golden State Warriors went head to head against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals. The following are two different views of the same basketball game.
“Now presenting your Chicago Bulls!” the announcer screamed as smoke poured into the stadium, and the lights went out. “Starting as head guard, Derrick Rose”, came screeching through the speakers. The crowd was on their feet as all the other players were called by name and ran on to the freshly shined court. There were screams of “We love you Derrick”, while shouts of insults, obviously from fans of the opposing team, the New York Knicks reverberated through the arena.
When my favorite basketball team, the Boston Celtics, played in their season opening game on October 17th, I would not have dreamt that I would be leaving the room in tears after having flashbacks of the biggest setback in my lifetime. Celtics player Gordon Hayward suffered a serious leg injury early in the game. While many people were disappointed that one of the Celtics’ best players was injured, I sympathized for Gordon because I truly understood what he was going through. The biggest setback of my life came on September 1, 2015, just before my sophomore year of high school.
It happened on June 11, 2015. My lacrosse team won our regional quarter final game the previous day—I scored my personal best of five goals and was named Player of the Game. As a reward for the win, my coach gave us a three hour practice the next day that was strictly conditioning—leaving the seniors 30 minutes to go home, shower, change, and drive to our Senior Dinner at Bowdoin College. I raced home from practice, my sweat sticking to the car leather seats, music blasting, and the wind in my hair. I had the future on my mind: playoffs, graduation, summer, and college.
Eighth grade has been an unexpected but fantastic year. I expected it to be like my seventh grade year, long, boring, easy work, and only a couple of my friends are in my classes. Boy, I was wrong. Eighth grade has been a completely different adventure. The classrooms smell like people trying to hard to smell good, sometimes it gives me a major headache!
Air ball— again. My form was lost, coordination gone, and so was my patience. I’ve stopped playing basketball for 3 months mainly because of school work and things going on in my life. I was determined to get my skills back no matter how long it’ll take. I started a game of basketball with other people inside the gyms court.
