Meet my Jazz band. This is a picture of us in New Orleans my junior year during spring break to play Jazz. Starting at the age of four, playing the classical music of Mozart and Bach was what my musical background was founded upon, with tangible medals and accomplishments as achievements.
My palms were sweating. My heart was beating fast and furiously. This was it. My very first upside-down roller coaster ride at age nine in Hershey Park. The Sooper Dooper Looper was so intimidating.

When I think about the person I am today I think about the people that have helped raise me. We all grow up with different experiences, environments, lifestyles, and people in our lives who help shape who we are. One person that has made a big impact in my life would be my nana and her name is Bea Wilson. She has been in my life since the moment I was born. My nana has shown me that you can make something good out of bad situation.
“Betty, go up to the stand.” I was startled back to reality by John, who was looking over at me, waiting for me to get up. I hesitated, but once I realized what was happening, I started to use my youth to my advantage. On the way to the stand, I started to make myself cry. I knew that me crying would persuade everyone to believe me.
Why has He forsaken me so? I cannot handle it anymore. For the past few weeks Satan himself has eaten me alive from the inside. I have prayed to Him so much, and I thought He would free me of all of this internal combat between Satan and me, but this time Satan has prevailed over me.
You treat me with utmost respect and great love. You always make it feel like you're with me, holding me close and never letting me go when I want to cry. I always know not to cry and feel alone when I have you baby. Andrew, you make it feel as if you're near me, kissing my head and wiping the tears away when I'm crying. You make it feel like you're there telling me I'm stronger than this, and holding me tight to tell me no big girl should cry.

I love you because you know how to comfort me when I’m in a bad mood. I love you because you will do anything to make me feel better when I’m sick or upset. I love you because you say and do silly things to make me laugh when I’m upset. I love you because your cute little forehead kisses make me feel happy inside. I love you because you always try and sing to me to make me laugh even though you're not the best singer.
