After the flight from San Juan del Sur, Abigail and I have finally arrived in Isle de Ometepe. We were so exhausted from the three days prior to arriving in the second city that we chose to have a rest day. Now that we both were well rested, we planned a day filled with trying new dishes such as the Gallo Pinto, which consists of beans and rice (Scharf, “Where”). Later on that day, we decided to take a bike tour of the island; I brought my disposable camera in my backpack to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. In addition to riding bikes, Abigail and I visited multiple sites around the island where we found ancient petroglyphs; these petroglyphs are famous for its pre-Columbia’s history.
I realized how important it is to incorporate all aspects of her situation, not just how she is feeling pain and has a hard time hearing, but also to focus on her wound. If I had not educated her about wound care, then she would not know how to properly care for her wound, and this might lead to a risk of infection or bleeding and slow time
Back to Claremont He turned to me, questioning whether I want to raise it or not. The only reply he received-frankly the only reply he would ever need-was my bid number slightly raised in the air and my head slightly nodding in approval. “Two now two now two now two,” an unruly cry tore through his lips, shaking the entire crowd. My actions were kept repetitive and my eye never left the opposing bidder, a collector from out of town.
Monday October 3rd I was texting my cousin Teagan Snyder and was talking about rodeo season again and she said that she was going to a Leon rodeo and I asked her to ask her mom if I could go with her. Her mom said yes so I hadn’t practiced at all during the week before the rodeo. The Friday night that I got down there I had to get everything ready for the rodeo in one night and it was really hard.
Hello again, I am so sorry I’ve emailed you so many times but I would really really like to meet one on one with Gerardo. My initial meeting that was scheduled for February 14th, I had to cancel due to being very sick and not wanting to spread it to him or his family. Are there any open slots? God bless, Rachal Adent
Senior year is winding down and three things that has been on my mind lately, one of which is UChicago. As I am artsy fartsy and I have written a crap poem to showcase my love for UChicago. Will anyone read this? Probably not, but I will share anyway and probably change some of the wording and add it to my quality blog (Grapesofcontentment.tumblr.com; high quality) University of Chicago To my dearest love, I pardon that my deep affections towards you are unrequited, And that you have many fine suitors that beseech you as well, As my love for you is immortal; an inevitable consequence of Your profoundness, your passion, your splendor, and intellect.
I have been doing some thinking about our conversation a few days ago and have concluded that I will take you up on the offer! I just sold my old bike and now have some money left over that I can use to pay for those seminars. I am going to see how soon I can get this done, I am going to look at the dates and send my form in. I will keep you posted on the status of things as they get processed.
With my Cajita I would like to express myself as a person who is going through changes and a journey to becoming the best person that I can be at this moment in my life. Since I realize I didn’t have a meaning to life and all my hard worked was mean less since I didn’t have a true purpose for my hard work. I realize that life don’t have to be so complex and that we must find our own path even if people don’t agree with our choices. Therefore, my three artifacts that going to be in my Cajita will representing my journey of change and symbolize me truly fallen in love with myself for both inner and outer. So, my three artifacts are the Bible, kickboxing hand wraps, and hair pick.
The Beginning….It was an early chilly morning in November of 2009. My dad, his friends, another kid, and me all loaded up in one truck ready to head east. I was only seven years old. We were going to Missouri to hunt whitetail. This was going to be the farthest away from home I have ever been.
Not only was I young but I took care of my family and started to realize how hard it was to really be in her shoes. After weeks passed and she started finding out her illnesses, we got really close. I started going to her more for everything when I would have troubles and struggles. There would never be a day nor dull moment that she wouldn’t listen or give me the best advice.
My artifact is a fox pinch pot. It was handmade by me. Choosing colors, it ended up orange and black. My pinch pot is important because it was something I made. Every pinch made, took valuable time and endless effort.
Other tip I find pretty usefull, is to let yourself dream about your future a bit and not be scared of it. Months ago one of my closest friends told me this, when I was almost crying from the thought of moving out, losing touch with my old friends and the rutine I 'm so used to: “Just imagine yourself, laying in your own flat next year. You will hear the rain through the open balcony window and you will be drinking your coffe in bed. Every day you will go to the same bus stop. After awhile it will become your bus stop.
Quite a while back I composed a section about "Wonderful Things. " If I recall effectively, the chief thing was "The Last Defender of Camelot" book recording by Roger Zelazny and read by "Odo" from "Profound Space Nine." Or perhaps you recollect that him better as the scornful Butler on "Benson." Notwithstanding how you recollect that him, Rene Auberjonois had the best perusing voice I have ever heard and holds that title right up 'til the present time. Nothing else thinks about.
After our parents divorced, when I was in high school, I know it got extremely difficult for our mom. She worked full time, therefore my older sister and I helped raise the younger ones. I saw my mom give so much of herself, including going without eating, just so we could. With
Gerald M. Sande Rome and Beyond During much of my four years in Rome I felt like a fish out of water. Of course I deeply appreciated the amazing opportunity that had been given me, and made every effort to take full advantage of it. The fish-out-of-water part centered essentially on the Gregorian University and their academic program focused almost exclusively on systematic theology. I grew up in a small town of about seven hundred people in eastern North Dakota (the Diocese of Fargo), and as a priest I expected to spend most of my life as a pastor there.
