Personal Nursing Philosophy
During my childhood years, the human body always intrigued me. My mother raised me with stories of how she dreamed of becoming a nurse herself, and soon after I sought out to fulfill her dream as well as my own with my higher-level education and opportunities that she did not herself possess. “So, what are nurses?” Nurses aren’t only trained to care for the sick, they are also educated personal whose objective is to fulfill patient needs by performing ongoing assessments and advocating for their safety. A good nurse delivers care by acknowledging the patients’ emotional, cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual needs. These important aspects of the human body are met by nurses each day using therapeutic skills
