Have you ever seen someone famous on TV and been like “Wow I want to be there when I’m older” Well if so then answer me this, how do you get there, being up on that stage and winning those awards? Well if you want to be in actor here is some information that could be very useful in helping you decide if this life style is right for you. An actor is someone who “ express ideas and portrays characters in theater, film, television, and other performing arts media” (Bureau of Labor Statistics) Actors take the written words in a script, and shows/expresses ideas while portraying characters. Their responsibilities mostly consist of Memorizing lines, preforming roles, reading scripts and meeting with agents. “Although some people succeed in acting without getting a formal education, most actors acquire some formal preparation through an acting conservatory or a university drama or theater arts program.” (Bureau of Labor Statistics) it would help a lot. Not just with getting experience but also helping you learn how to do things you didn’t know how to do before. No matter what there is always room for improvement.
