1Dear Principal Molony, The donated money should be used in the eight grade math and reading classrooms because it will improve the focus and attention of the students. The students' self esteem will go up which will let them participate and do more to benefit the classrooms. They will also be less antsy because they will be focused on work, and not worrying about their uncomfortable seats. Here is what the seats are going to be like: there will be three couches, four to five bean bags, three wiggle seats, one recliner and two big tables the wiggle seats will go on the table chairs.
This September I will be going off to high school. I will be attending Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island. I can’t wait to go to high school and take a big step toward adulthood. I expect a lot of things will happen in high school and I am looking forward to it.
I would recommend having a solid school with many high set goals. If you have a set goal for students it will be easier for them to achieve said goals. I would also recommend a strong base for said school and a good community. You want
As I traveled through each grade of the Croton-Harmon High School, my personal and academic goals helped to me to really flourish. These goals may have varied from year to year because a freshman is a little different from a senior, but they basically had all the same concept: I wanted to strive in school to be the best all-around student I could be, constantly stay focused and immerse myself in the Croton community. By setting my expectations and goals very high, I could flourish academically and really work to my full potential. By following these goals in school I pushed myself very hard and tried to take classes that would challenge me as well as help me to flourish as a student.
As a senior at Little Falls High School, I truly believe my time here has brought me various opportunities to succeed and accomplish goals for not only myself, but my school and community as well. The opportunities given to the body of students at Little Falls stays true to the school 's mission statement: To be educationally affective and academically effective. Personally, all of my high school achievements, activities and future goals have and will continue to represent my experience at Little Falls. The most important thing a school can provide to its students is a quality education. Especially within Little Falls High School the tools that faculty, and even other students ensure provide an environment to which anyone can thrive.
Last year I moved from Guttenberg to Manchester, which moved me from Clayton Ridge to West Delaware High School. The whole move was a speedy process. Before we moved I only knew 3 people that attended West Delaware and out of those people, none of them are my age. I was upset with my parents for putting me in the position of leaving all my friends that I had finally gotten used to, to move somewhere where I didn’t know anybody. A rush of emotions were coming onto me; fear of losing friends, anger and resentment towards my family for not telling me until they had already bought the house, but also excitement because I would be starting all over again and meeting new people.
When people think of the phrase, “the good life”, they immediately think of money; stellar paychecks, lavish vacations, and European sport cars. While that may sound appealing, I think money is only a small fraction of what the good life really is. I associate the good life with comfort. A comfortable life isn’t luxurious; It’s pursuing a career you’re passionate about and making enough money from it to support your family and do the things you love without falling into debt. Something I hope to lose while I’m in college is any shred of ignorance that I may have.
I grew up in a middle-class, small town neighborhood right next to the coast in south Texas. At the age of fourteen, I moved to the Texas Hill Country. Before this time, I had been homeschooled since the third grade. I learned early how to think on my own and to think on a deeper level. I was able to take astronomy, robotics and things that helped develop my science skills which was an opportunity for to explore many avenues that I would have been unable to do in a public school setting.
1- What makes a good school? There is many ways a school can be good . Personally to me their are a few important traits that make a school good. One trait that makes a good school to me is giving students independence. Independence makes a good school because it shows kids to not depend on someone or something .
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
Within my time at high school I was able to make a smooth transition from a large public to a more community minded private school where I am actively involved with the leadership and student body. I recognize how important the chemistry of a school is for individual students. My extracurricular activities have been very important to my overall high school experience. My participation in team sports and the film program have helped me mature and think critically. While I was I was nervous at first at the thought of attending a private school with uniforms, strict teachers, and pretentious students.
My high school experience was a long, frustrating learning experience. I didn’t know what to expect, or what I was getting myself into. Nobody gave me the tools to understand the main focus of each year. I am going to give you tips and advice on how to succeed in high school. I will discuss 9-12th grade along with what to expect each year.
The high school that I was in gave me an interesting experience. I was able to learn and experience different lessons with in my high school. Three of those life lessons that I went through are when my school was placed on lockdown, another experience is a club that I joined which helped really mature. Finally the other experience I faced in high school was that some of my friends that I had wanted me to join them in some bad situations but I kept myself out of those situations.
High school grows you into the person you are. I have great memories, good and bad, some learning experiences and some that I’ll take with me the rest of my life. My high school experience has influenced my development as a person inside and outside of the class by making me more independent, choosing friends wisely and teachers motivating me to attend college and accomplish goals I have set for myself. I have gained my independence slowly throughout high school. The importance of being independent is being secure with who you are and what you believe in.
There are many places that I visit and spend time at on a regular basis, especially my school. As a student, most of my time is spent studying. However, there are a few places, where I especially like to spend time at. These places are where I get to relax, have fun and even create meaningful memories.
