The course has focused on different world views, and how our understanding of God impacts our understanding of, and interaction with, the world around us. This paper takes a look two of my personal world views, asking what I believe to be true, why I believe it to be true, and how that truth impacts my daily life.
What do I believe to be true?
There are three primary things I believe to be true. The first is that God is the creator of the universe. I believe that He created the heavens and the earth, that He set the stars in motion, carved out the seas and the mountains. I also believe that He created me with intention, precision, and great care. I believe He created humanity and set them in paradise. I believe God created me with specific …show more content…

This is solidified for me by the thoughtful argument and careful research of Dinesh D'Souza. In his third debate with Christopher Hitchens, D'Souza states that “the order and logic of the universe proves intelligent design” and does not leave any room for a chaotic, random explosion as so many believe (Hitchens & D'Souza, 2008). To love him is not to be a doormat but rather to be kind and respectful, and to pray fervently for his redemption. Part of that is to love my siblings by setting a Godly example for them. I do this by avoiding bitterness and hateful anger toward our father, while maintaining a healthy distance from him emotionally. I am imperfect nad learning how to do this better, but with the grace and help of my heavenly Father, I can show His love to
