In the novel, Enrique’s Journey by Sonia Nazario reveals the struggle for Enrique in his trip to the United States which it is worth it because the love of a mother can not be replaced. As the Author, was describing how Enrique feels leaving his family and girlfriend reveals “ Only his mother can help him. She is his salvation.” In other words, what the author is trying to emphasize that Enrique’s mom will help him be a better person. This means that the trip he is taking is to be with his mother and her love.

Kerr, a sixteen-year-old boy named Buddy Boyle is facing many inferiority complexes as a result of trying to be his best for a rich socialite named Skye Pennington. As a impelled action of this obsession, Buddy starts lying to his family, blowing off his little brother Streaker, and starts wearing a mask by using his wealthy grandfather to impress Skye instead of him. Over the course of the novel Buddy transmutes from an obsessed adolescent teenager to a mature young adult who becomes comfortable being himself as a product of many tragedies that he has faced. In the novel touching spirit bear we learn all about a young boy named Cole Mathews learns how to control himself. He learns that anger is not the answer. He realizes that this is his,last chance. Have you ever gone through the desert with only a small gourd of water? Well, the Lost boys of Sudan went through South Sudan to get away from the war, and some other challenges. In the book a Walk to Water Salva and Nya have problems of getting water, but Salva is based on a real person who went through the challenges of losing his family and the brutal Sudanese war. These are some of the challenges he faced and how he solved them with what he had throughout his life. Through harsh challenges Salvas new foster family was always there for him to support and encourage him through tough times.
Lupe Medrano a shy girl who was bad at sports, wanted to be the marble champ. Lupe is the main character in the story “The Marble Champ” by Gary Soto and she is a great role model and that can be hard because not everyone is a role model. She is a role model because she is hardworking, a good sport, and she is very intelligent. The first and one of the best reasons that Lupe is a role model is because she is a hard worker. For example Lupe was determined to win the marble tournament.
Brent learns what some tell tale signs are when people are afreaid of him. Such as woman holding their purses tight to themselves, holding onto their partners, and in some drastic measures imideatly leaving and getting something to defend themselves. Brent starts walking differently, giving people more space when needed when walking down the streets or altogether stopping and letting people pass so they dont have to walk by him and fear for their lives. Hestarts being overlypolite and nice, and whistling clasical music to put people at ease.
In Kate Chopin’s “The Story of an Hour” demonstrates the personal growth of the dynamic protagonist Louise Mallard, after hearing news of her husband’s death. The third-person narrator telling the story uses deep insight into Mrs. Mallard’s thoughts and emotions as she sorts through her feelings after her sister informs her of her husband’s death. During a Character analysis of Louise Mallard, a reader will understand that the delicate Mrs. Mallard transforms her grief into excitement over her newly discovered freedom that leads to her death. As Mrs. Mallard sorts through her grief she realizes the importance of this freedom and the strength that she will be able to do it alone.
As they spend the day together, they begin to realize their flaws and how much alike they are. The character I will focus on is Andrew Clark. He is a jock, the athlete on the wrestling team. He seems to enjoy his status as an athlete and has a high self-esteem because of that status. Andrew seems to feel like he needs to protect everyone but is hot-tempered.
