To me this is one of the uttermost powerful quotes in the entirety of “The Alchemist” written by Paulo Coelho. Based on my own personal experiences and vouching for humans in general, we have all suffered some kind of pain and grief in our lives. Either through the loss of a loved one or a personal dream or goal, and with that we experience great pain. The pain of human loss is unavoidable in one’s life, but the pain of losing yourself or your personal goal can be avoided.
