And, for those people that say it costs too much, it’s much cheaper to spay or neuter your pets than it is to raise puppies or kittens (“Pet Statistics”). There are already clinics in place that offer low price services for having pets spayed or neutered. Animals purchased from shelters do not leave the shelter without being spayed or neutered, and your already low purchase price includes that service. Vets and non-profit organizations could collaborate together to make services available as well.
