Children are the future of this world, they are bundles of joy and, although they can cause a lot of chaos, they are still babies. In order for us to keep them protected from terrible people, we must keep them away from unwelcome situations and individuals, but sometimes that does not work out as expected. Kids supposedly do difficult jobs and make money to get out of the system, while teenagers do sex work to make money. Thousands of kids and teenagers are kidnapped, stolen from their parents, and sold into the human trafficking system every year. The truth is that this is probably uncomfortable for you guys to hear. But it's happening all around us, all the time. And because these horrible people are hard to find and hard to catch, we can not stop them. The United Nations have also reported that trafficking is one of the most sizable pursuits around the world. Traffickers are brainwashing women, children, and men by being drugged by them and forcing them to act unwillingly under their control. When victims come out of situations like this, they have been exposed to such trauma that their brains attempt to block it out or even dwell on it whenever they are thinking about it. The emotions they experience are so strong that a tiny event can trigger a full-blown panic attack. Those who have been trafficked can suffer long-term consequences. It alters the Individual and any relationships that they may have. People who have been trafficked struggle with everyday life because the effects after trafficking are long-lasting and traumatizing.
