16 and driving Sixteen isnt to young of an age to drive a car because teens in that age/ age range are learning to have new responsiblitys and driving would be one of the biggest examples of taking care of something and having that respomsibilty. At 16 your right in the middle of your teenage years and have had enough expeirence with knowing right from wrong and decision making behind the wheel. One main reason for ehy 16 year olds are ready for such a reponsibility and authority would be because 16 year olds need to be able to control their own where abouts. 16s when most kids begin to get a job and make thier own money, go to school dances, and go on dates. A lot of the time kids might not want their parents to take them to those things or they arent able to. Parents are very busy!! Sometimes ita a lot helpful if you can drive your little siblings or help out by going to get grocieries or something. Kids or young adults of that age have been trsined to have charectoristics like responsibility, decision making, confidence, and safty. These traits have been put to practice and been using them throughout their life. I could understand why some people might think that 16 isnt a responsible age but we are the future. We wont be learning if we dont have to oppertunity to make mistakes and learn from them. Parents and all adults cant expect that from us if they dont give us the oppertunity to prove them wrong or show them different than what they think is going to
