When it comes to abortion, I believe that no matter the situation, every child has the right to life. According to liveactionnews.org, "life begins at fertilization (conception). It is a scientific fact that an organism exists after fertilization that did not exist before." This might go back to the commonly debated topic whether or not the child is "my body, my choice", but it's safe to say that when the baby has a life of it's own, it also has rights. There are many different situations a woman could be in when considering abortion, and being a man, I can't imagine the stress of certain situations. But, the answer to the question, "when is it ok to murder an unborn child?" the answer is always "never". There's no better situation in my life that strengthens my position on abortion than the story of my own life. My parents were faced with very difficult situations, but they stuck to there stance, and I will forever be grateful for the decisions they made. …show more content…

After a while, they decided to go with the option of invitro fertilization. Traditionally, invitro is where the doctors take and fertilize many eggs outside the womb, keep them in a petri dish, pick the healthiest 4, terminate the remaining zygotes, and put the remaining 4 into the mother. That means my parents were a part of terminating many lives of unborn children. After learning this, I asked them why they would choose that rout to pregnancy. They informed me that they were aware of the steps associated with invitro, and to my relief, they told the doctors that they wanted 4, and only 4, no matter the health of each one.
