This fear of losing a toned body after graduating high school bothers some more than others. They realize after high school there are no longer athletics, and they’ll no longer be exercising regularly. Also, when they depart from their parents house and begin to live on their own their eating habits change.
These ideas of normalization, integration, and rehabilitation were changed by people with disabilities. With the fresh perspective offered by the disabled population, new thought processes and ideas were at the forefront of the disability rights movement. One of the first organizers of the ILM was Ed Roberts (who was a quadriplegic himself) who fought for the acceptance of disabled people in schools. This began when Roberts was in high school, as he could not graduate because he could not complete his requirement for gym due to having an Iron Lung. This started his desire to better the lives of disabled people at schools and as he went to UC Berkeley for college, he decided to sue Berkeley for not having integration or acceptance of disabled people and won his case, yet he was confined to the infirmary and as more and more disabled people decided to join Berkeley they created the Disabled Students’ Program that was very important for people who had disabilities.

Think about it a prisoner with no legs or no arms and they need assistance but the correction officer opens the cell doors he does not care at all. Every decade our population gets older and a whole new generation of seniors comes along with a new set of attitudes and expectations as to what they want from an assisted living facility. And now that people are living longer, there is a much greater need for these facilities. They can provide a refuge to many family members that may become severely burdened by the arduous task of taking care of a loved one who can no longer take care of themselves. When simple tasks such as bathing and feeding become near impossible to manage alone, not to mention driving to the store and shopping, decisions about placement into a home become paramount. Most important to the family members is the ability of the facility to provide the adequate care that is needed for their loved ones.

Racism was so widely spread it even found its way into professional sports.
Healthcare is something everyone needs and should be able to get, but right now that is not happening. In America there are millions of people who don’t have healthcare insurance. This is because some can’t afford the insurance plan. There are also millions more who have health insurance, but can’t afford using it. This means that they are paying for an insurance plan, but the deductibles are so high they can’t afford to go to the doctor.

The children of our nation are the future; however, America’s children are suffering. Child poverty, hunger and nutrition, and welfare are growing issues that need to be solved. The statistics provided in The State of America’s Children 2017 Report are eye-opening. Sadly, poverty is threatening America’s children. According to the State of America’s Children in the United States and Alabama 2017 Factsheets, 18 percent of the U.S.’s children were poor in 2016, and 25 percent of Alabama’s children were poor in 2016.

The aim of this type of education is to get students with learning disabilities involved in the society. Teachers and fellow students will also provide help for students with disabilities; in this way, students with learning disabilities will be motivated to study as they feel that they are a part of a group instead of being isolated in special places.
