Football SafteySome People think that adding more safety to the game of football is ruining the sport. Football concussions to head are decreasing but spinal concussions numbers are increasing. Coaches and Football organizations must get and make better equipment, teach safer hitting techniques, in force harsher punishments for illegal hits, players got to practice safer hitting techniques. New helmets are something the NFL is constantly. The numbers or players injured in the spine in football are increasing. 24 high school players and 4 collage players passed away due to spinal injuries in 2005-2015. With other injuries on the rise like spinal they need to make other equipment to protect the other injuries or need to make the current equipment better. They got consistently try to make it like they are doing for helmets. They really need to put more effort into making this equipment. The one they currently got is good, but it can be better. High school Coaches and coaches at different levels are adopting new hitting methods. The new hitting methods are to keep the head away from contact which is helping with the number of concussions go down so have the number players paralyzed players. There is still a better way for players to tackle and hit out there, coaches and players and football organizations need to go on a quest to find it. Even if they might be looking for it they need to try harder. The rules against hitting illegally right now are a game or 2 suspension and in the NFL occasionally a fine of 1,00 dollars or more. Even those these punishments are harsh players still do it and sometimes intentionally. They need to make harsher punishments, so player don’t want to do it anymore. They also got to understand when the hit is unintentional and intentional so they so the accidental hits don’t get as harsh as punishments as the ones on
