Health Club memberships are not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, some club memberships can be fun. They have perks that you usually will not find at home such as tennis courts, Olympic size swimming pools and lots of commercial quality home gym equipment. Oh and one more thing, that 's right girls, guys like to check you out at the club. But seriously, remember the reasons you joined the club. A health club is a place to workout with exercise equipment and to have access to knowledgeable instructors to show you how to use the exercise equipment. Today there are some clouds on the horizon for health clubs and the health club membership may soon become a endangered species. 3 threats to their existence include: time constraints, health considerations and the technological advancements of today 's in home exercise equipment. Who has time to drive to the club anymore? After working all day, you get home and soon have your hands full with the kids and your own commitments.
