Firstly, to begin with this essay it is important to know the meaning of homeless, according to the Health centres funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) a homeless person is an individual without permanent housing who may live on the streets; stay in a shelter, mission, single room occupancy facilities, abandoned vehicle; or in any other non-permanent situation.
Currently , there are many organizations that are trying to reduce this problem and to find a way to improve this issue, but there are some other things every citizen can do to help in this situation.
Homelessness is everywhere, in all countries, some of them have a higher percentage and others less, but independently of these values, homelessness is an important and conflictive global problem, based on the United Nations Commission on the Human Rights, there are 100 million homeless people worldwide.
Homeless in Mexico has been increasing through the years, according to the Homeless World Statistics 50% of Mexicans do not have a place to live and they can spend days without eating. Taking reference from the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) there are between 15,000 and 30,000 people on the streets of the Mexican capital, likewise between 40% and 50% of the total population of Mexico is poor.
This is indeed a conflict in our country, many homeless kids have to sleep in sewers, some of them have to sell their body to have something to eat, others are quested by gangs, and sometimes
