There is an issue in our country of illegal immigration, more than 10 million undocumented people currently reside in the U.S illegally. The illegal immigration rate is growing by 700,000 per year. Something has to be done about this, we need to make a law against illegal immigration. We do not know what kind of people are coming into our country if they come in illegally. I would like to create a twenty eighth amendment that will do something more about this. This amendment would make it harder for people to come into our country illegally and if someone finds out about someone that is here illegally they will receive a greater punishment. Some people should be welcome to our country so they can get a fresh start, but people that are criminals should not be welcome until they are fully checked. Why would you come over the border illegally if you are a good person because you should have nothing to hide. So they should do it the right way. Most people that are hiring these people are doing illegally as well and they should receive some kind of punishment for what they have done.
