Persuasive Essay On Return Drinking Age To 18

MLDA 21 to 18 When the MLDA 21 act is considered to be for the greater good, that is not always the case. The law was enacted to make the life of an average teenager easier, but instead it just put more restriction on their freedom. When there is restriction in the life of a teenager, then comes rebellion against this act and that improves their likelihood of drinking alcohol. Age 18 is when teenagers start receiving their civil and mandatory responsibilities. So, since it is legal to lay your life down for your country, shouldn’t you be able to drink at the same age. Teenagers are responsible enough for the drinking age to be lowered from 21 to 18 due to their legal freedom, knowledge of the lies protecting MLDA 21, and their rebellious nature.

The purchase and use of cigarettes are legal at this age, but it is well known that a pack of cigarettes is more hazardous than a bottle of Bacardi. So, if this is legal, then there is no excuse to the minimum age not being 18.
