What do you think when you hear kids speak out against problems in our world? Do you think, why should I listen to kids, what do they know? Teen activism is where young teens in their community stand up for what they believe in, and aren’t afraid to take risks, empower people, and make a meaningful change in the world. Teen activists are determined, they stand up for what they believe in, they care about the world and the environment, and their not apprehensive to speak out to others. Teen activists find their passion they want support, than reach out to friends, family, and even maybe strangers. Then the activists take charge and fight for their passion. Will you take charge? Malala Yousafzai Malala Yousafzai is a fearless woman that has touched many girls hearts with her love for education and girl’s rights. Based on the timeline on the website, “Malalafund.org,” Malala was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan. She grew up in Swat Valley, sharing the love of education like her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai. In 2007, sadly, Taliban militants (terrorists - bad people) took control over Swat Valley.
