Leas square regression:
The Least Square regression identifies the relationship between the independent variable, x, and the dependent variable, y. It is given by the following formula: y-y ̅= S_xy/S_(x^2 ) (x-x ̅) where S_xy= (∑▒xy)/n- x ̅y ̅ and S_(x^2 )=√((∑▒x^2 )/n-(x^2 ) ̅ ) m(slope)=nxy-(x)(y)nx2-(x)2 b(y intercept)= y-m(x)n
Y=mx+b
