These sport are planned according to the strength and age of an adult and child should not be put in the position to play by these standards. In life, not everything is easy. Life is nothing but competition and people are always competing with each other.
Some may argue that kids should be allowed to participate in competitive sports, others think it should be banned. Kids should be allowed to participate in competitive sports. Some may argue that competitive sports push kids way over their limit. However, studies show that more than half of the kids in America are either overweight or obese (O’Connor). If sports do not push kids over their limit, then instead of half the kids being overweight or obese, most to all of the kids will be.
Sport is a big part of the lives of children and a lot of importance is placed (by the children themselves) upon their ability to perform well in the sporting arena. It is common to note that those children who cope well with competition are more likely to continue with and take more pleasure from sport. Competition is therefore a huge element when considering how a child responds to sport. Since there are often clear winners and losers in matches, children need to find ways of coping with success and, more importantly, perceived failures. Some are better at this than others.
Recently I witnessed on social media a video of a children’s soccer game but a key object was missing, the ball. It was pitiful and the reasoning for it was it made sure every kid go to experience to score or have the quote-unquote ball to make them all feel important. In sports, there is supposed to be winners and losers and they're giving out participation awards to everyone and even the kids that worked hard get the same thing as the kids that were forced to play and this takes the drive to work hard out of the game. These parents modify the art of the game to fit their children's kids needs and they end up never having to face adversity or have to fight back when things get hard. So the question is today are
Not all girls at Rabun County Middle School like the sports that we are provided, basketball, cross-country, softball, etc, or they can’t make the team because they are judged depending on their shape, size or social economics. Those girls have to leave Rabun County Middle School for expensive private schools just for the sports they love. Girls at Rabun County Schools should have a middle school volleyball team. This sport is an affordable and a family friendly sport. It is easy to learn.
It is a huge confidentiality that some people believe that girls shouldn't be allowed to play boys sports. The reason that this is, is because the girls will just get hurt because they are not strong enough. I believe that girls should be able to play boy sports because it gives them more opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and be more active instead of staying on the couch. It also gives kids the ability to learn how to work as a team to achieve their goals.

While there are many reasons to believe that children this young should not spend their whole childhood sacrificing for sports, there is something about sports keeping kids involved. Throughout the years 2012 to 2020, there was a minor decrease in participation levels in sports for ages 13 through 17. Even if there was only a 7% decrease in males and 2% in females, that is a lot of kids quitting compared to how many children in the world participate in youth sports(“Studies Find Indulging in Sports Is Good for Boys”).

Most sports are team sports that also teach your child teamwork. Playing youth sports is a terrific experience for you or your child.
