They are known as the mirror image of humans in the ocean because they have such a high intelligence level. Orcas, much like humans, have their own pods or families and in those pods they have their own languages and their own culture! In the 70’s, orcas began to become famous. They were so majestic and many people would pay big bucks to see something like that. So, people were hired to go out and capture the baby orcas on the coast of Washington.
