“Forty years ago 3,000 zebras roamed the 1,456 square miles of Grongosa park in Africa. After 15 years of civil war there are 10 zebras left.”(Jones 1) Animal welfare is a topic that has been debated recently, should we use animals for entertainment like zoos. Zoos, Aquariums, and horse carriages have come into controversy for animal abuse although some people say that it creates an emotional bond. There is information from both sides and should not use them for entertainment that is at least like we are now.

The act of soaring which is making the horses jump high normally uses abuse to make it possible therefor it is now illegal (Mcclian1). As a rule it is not good to do something illegal for entertainment. “Soaring for horses is illegal under the Federal House Protection Act” (Mcclian 2) that is another reason we should stop using animals for entertainment.
Finally it can actually put the trainers in danger. A show with killer whales killed a trainer at SeaWorld. As a general rule it is not good for people to put there life in danger to put on a show that may also abuse the animals in it. Would you want to see a man die from abused animals? No of course not, so then why would you risk it and abuse the animals no matter what. “After an orca named Tilikum killed trainer Dan Bragheau at SeaWorld Orlando 2010(Pedicini 1). Now some people will say that doing this makes kids have a connection with the animals, but what this claim overlooks is the fact that the animals, first of all, are in bad conditions and they are not in nature and may not act the same as they would. Also they say that they would do something good with the bond with that animal, but unless they realize that it is a form of abuse they will just make more things that will also harm the animals (Pedicini
