Spirituality can be defined as trusting in something or someone which is higher that one’s level of intellect with the efficacy that it will bring hope, comfort, and tranquility within a person’s mind, body, and soul, and relief from burden, pain, and negative circumstances. Practicing spirituality have the tenacity in improving an individual’s life both on a professional as well as a personal level, and this is often accomplished by improving an individual coping skills and social support, increasing their level of optimism by being more hopeful, promoting healthy behavior on a daily basis, minimizes feelings of fears and depression, and encouraging a profound sense of relaxation which often increase their longevity.
