In Pete Doctors Pixar Animated film Inside Out, we follow the journey of a young, twelve-year-old girl called Riley. We see this movie through her head and her emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. Doctor does a lovely job of presenting important themes in this film through the somewhat depression stage of the film. Some of these themes are Teamwork, Family, Emotion, Personality, Doctor does a lovely job of identifying this in the movie and then providing scenes that make it the beautiful movie that it is.

Joy being the head emotion as represented by her being the first emotion and the fact she has a glowing blue aura around her. Her design choice sound quite fitting, as she is a somewhat of a star shape, this also ties to the fact that she has a glowing aura surrounding her. Sadness is the second emotion to appear followed by Fear, Disgust and Anger. Her design is represented with a tear drop, when your crying you get a tear of sadness. Fear is next, he keeps Riley from getting hurt this is seen at the very beginning of the movie when he's being introduced, because these keeping Riley safe from all the electrical equipment. His design is like a stick, very fragile and breaks quite easily, this can be seen in fears personality quite often. Disgust is next and her job, which is told to us by Joy, she keeps Riley from being poisoned physically and socially. Her design, which was said to be the most difficult, because they couldn't decide if she was going to be Disgusted or Disgusting. In the end, the chose disgusted but still kept a tie to disgusting with her silhouette being like a broccoli, which as seen in the movie Riley hates broccoli. And last is Anger, he is the least felt emotion to Riley as she is a happy girl and joy and anger don't really fit with each other.
