Heroes put others before themselves and will do anything to ensure that thing’s safety. Many people have either risked their lives or have loss their lives due to trying to save others. An example of this would be the man in the red bandana or Welles Crowther. Crowther was working in the twin towers as planes were crashing into them. Crowther could have ran away from the other people when the planes hit, but he chose not to spare himself, but to save others and sacrifice his own life.
A famous actor Christopher Reeve once said, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to preserve and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Being heroic does not always mean you’re special or well known. Since a hero shows determination, it drives them to help others and go beyond what’s expected of them. Heroes are people who go beyond expectations.

When the word hero is spoken, many may immediately think of a character like Superman. Superman can fly and has extreme strength, allowing him to help his city. What truly makes Superman a hero is how he puts these skills to use with his outstanding personality qualities. Odysseus, from the Odyssey, also has overlapping traits of a hero. He is not gifted with supernatural capabilities but still put in an effort to help his men and community.
A hero is anyone who makes the right decision to sacrifice for a person in need. For example, without heroes like firemen, wildfires and house fires would spread across the nation, costing lives and loss of worldly possessions. One of the first villains that Spider-Man had to fight was William Baker or Sandman. William Baker had a rough childhood and grew up in a bad neighborhood in New York. Williams father left him when he was a young boy, and it led William into a life of bad decisions and hate. William was one of the most successful criminals in New York, but one day he was caught and sent to prison. William escaped from prison and hid near an atomic testing site on the beach.
A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities (Hero). A Villain is a person who has evil actions or motives to harm people (Villain). In my opinion, a hero is usually the person in the story that everyone likes or looks to for help and the villain is the misunderstood or worst person in a situation. As humans we can be portrayed as a hero or villain when diverse situations occur. In August Wilson’s play, “Fences” Troy Maxson’s past, present and future caused significant traits of being called a hero and a villain in segments throughout the play.
Spiderman started off as Peter Parker, an ordinary, normal human being who got bitten by a genetically modified spider. He wakes up the next morning with incredible powers. After the bite he received from that spider he noticed his whole life changed; furthermore, he began to notice that he was able to scale onto walls and ceilings. Subsequently, Spider-man gained more and more powers, he all of the sudden became the hero of the city by capturing all criminals. Metamorphosis means change, it can occur anytime in this particular movie a regular character instantly changed into becoming the hero of the city just by gaining super powers from a particular spider that bit him.
In Homer’s and the Grimm Brother’s plays/stories are filled with loyalty, maliciously, cavalier, and combat. All from different stories but contain the terms of heroism by rules of the archetypes filled with fearlessness, strength, commitment, and courage. Very much relatable to Spider-man, he carries all of the familiars in heroism.
The human race will seek, deceive, and destroy anything to achieve their goals. The hero, in it’s simplest form as showed in comic books, just does not exist. The hero must do anything necessary to achieve justice, in whatever form that may occur. The ends justify the means.

The Man Who Was Almost A Man is coming-of-age story about a young man named Dave Saunders who is wanting to enter adulthood in hopes that being a man will earn the respect of his fellow (but older) farm hands. He believes owning a gun will push him into this adulthood. While this at first seems like a childish idea (and of course it is), it could have turned into a way for Dave to become an adult. A gun is a serious responsibility, and handling that responsibility may have proved him a man.

Spider-Man faced off against two of the Phoenix Five to make sure the Avengers could get to safety and finish their rescue mission. He barely got out alive. This shows that he put his comrade’s safety above his own. If it wasn’t for Spider-man’s selflessness, the rescue mission would have probably failed and the Avenger’s lives would be in even more
