The Kalam Cosmological Argument and the B-theory of time INTRODUCTION Inherent in the Kalam Cosmological Argument, as defended by WIlliam Lane Craig, is the assumption of the A-theory of time. The A-theory of time accepts the view that there is a past, present and future, where future moments become increasingly present, and present moments become increasing past. Time exists very much like the way we experience it. The alternative view, the B-theory of time, sees time as a totality, that all times exist equally, or are equally real. Moments in time are ordered/related in terms of earlier-than, simultaneous with and later-than.
The reason why time passes is because in the poem it says," It was twelve by the village clock. When Paul Revere crossed the bridge into Medford town, it was one by the village clock. When he galloped on his horse into Lexington, he saw the gilded weathercock swim in the moonlight as he passed, and the meeting-house windows, blank and bare, gaze at him with a spectral glare, as if they already stood aghast at the bloody work which they would look upon. " Henry Wadsworth Longfellow then says," Through all our history, to the last,
He argues that there is never right time or a wrong time to take action, there is only wasted time. He asserts that it is always the time to do something that is right, "Time itself becomes an ally of the forces of social stagnation. We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right,” (6) he also seems to believe that the inevitability of time passing is neither a bad thing or a good thing, but it can, however, be used constructively or destructively. He states, "Actually, time itself is neutral; it can be used either destructively or constructively. More and more I feel that the people of ill will have used time much more effectively than have the people of good will."

Time, she said is the only one truly irreplaceable commodity at our disposal. While time is limited, it has infinite possibilities. She used the West African proverb- if you wait for tomorrow, tomorrow comes and if you don’t wait for tomorrow, tomorrow comes to place emphasis on this. The choices we make with the 86,400 seconds in each day is what gives it an unlimited potential. Connections from the past, present and future are always very good.
In the novel it seems as though Gatsby is unaware that time moves forward, regardless of what happens, and that time cannot

As one wise time traveller once said “People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually ... it 's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff” (Doctor Who S3E10). While this isn’t the most eloquent or scientific quote, it makes the audience think about how they view time and their life.
