Cooking is an exquisite art to master. It is one form of art that simultaneously achieves a goal while satisfying one’s craving of hunger. Each day in the kitchen is a new adventure to explore what one is capable of. Not only does the classroom environment provide the structure to set the precedent of determination, but it also prepare students to overcome any obstacle. Through hands on learning, students experience how it feels to become successful and learn how to deal with failure. Since my experience in Culinary Arts has been so rewarding, I would like to become a Culinary Arts Leader to help students discover their own passions. There must be more options available in the Culinary besides levels I and II, to further my knowledge and skills. Culinary class has left me with a remarkable experience that has helped become who I am today. From level one, I became the leader of my table and learned firsthand what it takes to be a leader. Taking initiative does not mean you get everything right the first time, sometimes you have to fail first. In either case, the qualities I possess helped my table execute the recipe. Since I am a person of many traits, I am that someone who takes initiative, who is organized, punctual, responsible, creative, cooperative, respectful, and friendly. No matter what I do, I always try to have fun because it is better to make things meaningful. I find it important to take time to make new friendships with the people I surround myself with. The memories I’ve made in this class will last a lifetime, as I hope I can help others do the same. I highly believe my personality would be a great asset to work with others because it would enhance this learning
