Physical Activity Requirements
PART ONE
Flora Hayes is a 17 year old girl who does not regularly do exercise, she does not smoke or drink alcohol, however she does suffer from social anxiety. She lives in shell cove. Flora is currently undertaking year 11 and is very busy doing her preliminary HSC along with other co-corricular activities and study. Her week consists of going to school studying and then doing debating Wednesday afternoon, art club Thursday afternoon. She is interested in a wide variety of things, including, swimming, painting, reading and cooking. Flora knows that she should try harder to implement exercise into her daily life, however she procrastinates and provides excuses as to why she cannot do exercise at any given time during the week. Her standard excuses include: “i just ate”, “im too tired”, “i have no time left” and her favourite one of all “its too cold outside”.
PART TWO
Physical activity could help to reduce flora’s stress and anxiety, improve her mood, give her time to reflect on her spirituality and help her not get sick as well as allowing her body to become healthier. If Flora decided to start regularly doing exercise her body would get stronger not only would her muscles start to get stronger, but her body would be able to fight germs and bacteria easier meaning that she would not get sick

The lack of time is from all of her school activities, leaving only around two hours maximum of free time, which Flora would usually use as her ‘rest time’. Her social anxiety prevents her from interacting with other people so she does not like going to very public places to do exercise for fear of being judged by others. Finally, when flora was a kid, she was forced to do physical activity, even when she didn 't want to so she now has very negative memories regarding physical
