THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
INTRODUCTION
Physical therapists, or PTs, are health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility - in many cases without expensive surgery and often reducing the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects. The physical therapist will examine and will talk about the patient’s symptoms and daily activity. The goal of physical therapists are to help the joints of the patient to move better and to restore or increase flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and/or balance.

It serves as the main focus of this study. The researchers made use of an aide memoire that consists of guide questions in connection with the main focus of the study, and a series of in-depth interview to generate the themes, and also to collect data or information on how the approach of physical therapist affect the recovery and health care condition of a patient. The research study may contribute additional knowledge and information on the importance of the approach of the therapists to the patients’ health care, conditions and recovery based on selected participants. Future researchers may learn and improve on this study.
SCOPE AND LIMITATION The following are the scope and limitations of the current study; 1. This research study is focused on four (4) Physical Therapists from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), to gather information about how their approach to their patients affect the patients’ health care and recovery. 2. The study is focused on four individuals that have different experiences about physical therapy during rehabilitation and treatment. 3. Data are gathered through interviews and are treated with confidentiality. 4. The ages of the respondents that were interviewed range from 20 to 40.
