“Crunch!” that’s the sound of your bones. I personally believe that Pit Bulls are not a very good pet of a family. These dogs have bad characteristic such as, them being fighting dogs, they are aggressive, they are unpredictable, and they bite a lot of people. To start with, Pit Bulls are fighting dogs. They are a mix between the Bulldog and the Terrier. According to the Wikipedia, the Pit Bull gets its gameness and agility from the Terrier and, the strength from the Bulldog. They are fighting dogs because, most of their owners put them in a pit and let them fight the other dog to the death. Hints the name ‘Pit’ Bull. Not to mention, Pit Bulls are aggressive. According to fact-about-dogs.info, Pit Bulls can weigh up to 100 lbs. I don’t know about you but, I wouldn’t like a 100 lbs. dog come running after me. After all they have a really strong bite that can seriously injure you. Another fact about the Pit Bull is, Pit Bulls can live to be 14 years of age. According to facts-about-dogs.info, the age of the Pit Bull varies but it averages to about 14 years. It can be extremely heavy and, it can also live to be really old. Also, Pit Bulls have a litter size of about ten puppies. This means they are reproducing five times faster than when they were a puppy (I say five times more because, it has to have a mom and a dad). According to facts-about-dogs.info, their litter size is around ten puppies. There is also the fact, that Pit Bulls are extremely unpredictable. They can snap at any time. Yes, even on their owners. According to Petfinder.com, the Pit Bull is a very unpredictable dog breed. They just go berserk all of a sudden. Thirdly, there are 44,000 facial injuries that have been caused by the Pit Bull.
