Plato's Allegory Of The Cave

162 Words1 Pages
My personal philosophy aligns a lot with Plato and Aristotle. These two philosophers thought almost just like me when it came to changing the world or trying to make it great. When it came to Plato’s thinking he was trying to change the world and make it better. What I try to do is make myself and my kids a better person and then I can start with others. Change comes from within and when others see it they can probably change to. When reading Plato’s Allegory of the Cave there were prisoners chained up with their backs to the opening of the cave. These prisoners had to distinct what shadows were being made by looking at the wall where the fire was casting their shadows. I sometimes think I do this same thing when it comes to my children.
