Plywood sheet is considered to be the innermost layer, allowing all other layers such as plasterboard and Gyprock to be installed on top of this. These sheets provide a temporary enclosure to the brownish wool fibre as shown in Figure 9.

These sheets have to be installed vertically (this can refer to the figure below), both vertical edges are needed to be ship-lapped over two nogging tracks (MRTFC, 2015).
