Being Wise In many occasions thinking “smart” makes you go through the negative way instead of the positive way just as the story I want to critique which is “So I aint no good girl”. This story is about a girl, who has a boyfriend that’s not trustworthy, respectful or responsible. Raheem, her boyfriend doesn’t like to go to school; he’s the “cutest boy” in school and does what he pleases. The girl is trying to hold her anger on the bus window while seeing her boyfriend kissing another girl. In this story Flake writes about a girl that develops the characters attitude and feelings throughout the story. Throughout the story, your life depends on your personality. An example would be paragraph 2, sentence #2 “But I hate’em just the same, mostly cause that girl with the red hair and grey eyes looks like the girl Raheem once left for me”. Paragraph 1 is another example of how I consider the girl, which says “But I don’t wanna be like them girls, so plain and pitiful”. With this evidence it says it all. In Paragraph 5 the girl even trips and falls on her on 2 feet because of her own actions. If you don’t want to go through the same problem that the girl went through and want to know what to do if you’re in it, then keep reading. As you have read, the girls boyfriend cheated on her so now she feels sad but then gets over it. When passing through this situation your health gets affected. Second of all, just by being cute it doesn’t make life complete. It’s something that’s going to be for a little while then gone. Last of all, in this word you or any other person deserves someone who respects you and loves you. Today the Majority of boys are like Raheem such as disrespectful, immature and dishonest.
