Today there are many forms of government throughout the world, but the three main forms of government are one-party systems, two-party systems, and monarchies. Each of these forms of government is not perfect, but they all have their certain benefits and certain flaws. One-party systems are a type of state in which one political party has the right to form the government, usually based on existing constitution. Some of the main one-party system states around the world today include the People’s Republic of China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Cuba, and Laos. Some benefits of living in a one-party system state are that there is a lot of continuity in the state and a lot of upper level party members are rewarded with multiple privileges that you wouldn’t normally have. Some of the main two-party countries around the world include the United States of America, Jamaica, and Malta. Some benefits of living in a two-party system country are that you have the choice of which party you want to go in between the two, also two-party system countries have been known to have very good stability and continuity. The main flaw of living in a two-party system country is that they try to stifle the views of minorities or the minority party so they barely have little to no say in what they want when it comes to their
