In Newtok Alaska, the villages are built on frozen solid soil. With the climate changing the soil is thawing out and the ice is melting. Some villages have even begun to sink in into the ground. Now the villagers must relocate to higher ground and must rebuild on solid ground that won't be affected by the climate change. Humans are the main cause of global warming, but at the same time we are the only ones who can stop it. For centuries, atmospheric carbon dioxide has never been higher than it is now. It has been increasing since the industrial revolution. The Earth's climate has changed throughout history. Many have tried to come up with solutions to fix this controversial issue but climate change is still a major issue and affecting millions of lives. Renewable energy contains nearly zero pollution. It’s generates electricity from sustainable sources like wind, solar, and geothermal power with no pollution or global warming emissions. That’s some ways we can fix the problem of climate changing. By eliminating the use of fossil fuels, and by using clean energy sources. One of the worst energy sources we use is coal. It’s a dirty energy source that produces less than half of our electricity but nearly 80 percent of all power plant carbon emissions. As mentioned above, coal have been used for hundreds of years. Eliminating that source of energy will lead us to a clean environment and less pollution. But not everyone will agree with the idea of eliminating the use of coal because it’s been used daily for mostly everything. Even if there’s new technology that could replace the use of fossil fuels. Humans are not easily accepting of new ideas that changed the way we live and it will take a while to fully change our energy
