Man must be able to choose his values and act toward them, even those that would him. Over all, man must be free to pursue his own goals and happiness. When the Government comes in and starts tweaking and changing the people’s individual laws, its unconstitutional power will eventually get our country into bad issues between each other. The Government needs to stay out of the people’s individual rights because it will not only cause problems and is unconstitutional, but it also forfeits the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. For instance, the bible was central to the thought and development of the Civil Rights Movement. The movement was not only by meeting in the church but also marked by biblical themes and biblical rhetoric. An example of popular civil rights rhetoric is Martin Luther King Jr,’s “I have a Dream” speech givin on August 28, 1963. The speech reflected King’s Criticisms and hopes for America set in the language of the prophets of the Old Testament. A lot of politics these days use media as a way to reach out to people. And what better than the younger Generation? This young generation is the future, and the world depends on them a lot. The Government would get rid of their rights, without them even knowing. That’s the sad part. Without the younger generation knowing, their world when the grow up will be so corrupt and bad that people will be disgusted. The younger Generation and the rest of the world today need to keep the constitution as the backbone of the rights for people. The Government does not have the right in anyway shape or form to make it theirs. An Example of this would be keeping the wrong people out of office. When Obama was elected president till now, the Unites States have had more debt than ever, less jobs, more people relying on welfare. If we keep the wrong people out of political positions, we will come together as a country and flourish. Politics today only care about two things. Money and themselves.
