Since the early 1900s, American citizens have not been able to legally enjoy the benefits that marijuana brings because it became classified as one of the most dangerous drugs in the 1900s. During this time, mexican immigration was high, and as a way of deporting these immigrants, the government began to look for ways to deport them.
