The Power Elite are the people in society that occupy the dominant positions in the military, economy and politics. Thus, these people are in control of war, major corporations and political field. These top positions are progressively interchangeable. C. Wright Mills developed this concept. He believed that the more money and social prestige you have, the easier it is to get more.
