The purpose of this qualitative case study is to explore the goals to reinstate prayer and Bible reading within the public school. Within the results of this study, it provides an understanding and to gain knowledge on how the constitution is structured along with interpreting an effective and valuable cause to modify the case ruled during the 60s. The pros and cons of this debate which have spanned over 50 years, it has advanced with the intent of being a positive case rule to a more negative position in the life of students. According to histories, it offers this analogy, asking would the movement regarding civil rights be the same if, Dr. M. L. King Jr. was an activist instead of a minister. Would Gandhi role as a political leader and a religious activist found that his aspiration was not to retire into a cave, but to carry the cave within yourself? Hartwick, Hawkins & Schroeder, (2016) found that “truth was not found to be something to be discovered in one personal life, it had to be upheld in the challenging contexts of social and political life” (p. 249). In this analogy, he finds that achievements can be implemented without the knowledge of religion in public schools, and achievement can be applied to them both. The primary truth to learning is to take into account, to understand history and the past, the various differences of religious cultures. To understand this nation conflicts regarding religions, values, and ethical dilemmas are to understand the religious pluralism which surrounds religion in the United States which causes religion diversity (Hartwick, Hawkins & Schroeder, 2016).
