For this assignment, I choose to analyze a painting done in 1984 by Andy Warhol titled details of renaissance painting. It is a detailed form of the birth of Venus which is ink on linen. The artist used a series of elements to enhance the painting and after observing it for sometimes I have managed to understand some of these elements. The first element is color. The painting is colorful and uses a combination of many colors with the dominant ones being the pink face; the hair is mainly orange while the background is light blue. The pink color in the face and the neck give the painting warmth. The introduction of the pink color on the body of the goddess replacing the original white gives her a sense of strength
