In the novel it tells how Mirabell was having affairs with fainall and pretending to love fainall. Mirabell had a mistress so he can get to millamant and her wealth. Mirabell and Mrs. Fainall were lovers; she married Fainall to be a cover with regard to her affair throughout Mirabell. Mirabell, while in its stroll, has told her regarding his scheme in order to trick Lady Wishfort and also marry Millamant. Just as he does not trust Waitwell, he arranged for a good marriage among Waitwell in count to Foible, Lady Wishfort's maid. He asked her what make her happy so he can do whatever that is so he can have heart because he really loves her. He know that he did some bad things in life like have an affair with her cousin ms.fainall just so he could get ms.millamant.so he now he doing whatever it is to get on her aunt lady wishfort good side so he could marry her and not nobody else . Because he sees her and him married and together to peruse a happy life that’s what Mirabell see. But then Mirabell once pretended to love lady wishfort in order to gain access to Ms. Millamant. Millamant can be in love to Mirabell but may not admit her love to be able to him. Lady Wishfort doesn’t approve Mirabell because she sees that he only won’t her fortune that’s under her name. However he still succeeds to continue the polished courtier. Although he loves her, he never loses sight of the importance of her money. Mirabell might have loved millamant but he had a hard time showing her that her love and have a hard time showing lady wishfort that he really love her niece millamant.
