There are quite a few pro-slavery arguments that Douglas offers and or implies within his writings. One of them would be how he uses his very own life as an example to to prove that slavery could never be justified for any reasons what so ever. He went on to develop what we know as a strong anti-slavery position within his writings. He goes into some really great details about how horrid it was for the slaves due to the way they were used for sexual acts and the ways that they were beaten.
