I believe that Professional athletes should be paid those millions of dollars, because they work in an industry that has the money to pay them those high salaries. If it was not for the viewers watching the games and buying the merchandise, sports franchises would not have the money to pay professional athletes as much money as they do. If someone thinks athletes make too much money, maybe they should stop watching the games or buying team products, because they are the one making them their money so there is no need to complain. I also feel that if it was someone else in the position of professional athletes, or their wife, brother, sister, daughter, son, etc, bringing home all that money, they would not be complaining about whether or not they get paid too much.
