Bad at Bat We do not live in a utopian society. Utopian societies do not exist for many reasons. Our world is not perfect, failure exists and we have to learn from our failures. Everything is not easy in our world, we sometimes have to experience tough times, but we have to learn how to adjust to them.
A utopia is considered a perfect place or state in which all of one's choices are chosen specifically by the person and for the person. In the short story “Survival Ship” by Judith Merril, a group of engineers are seeking this perfect world. Similarly, in the novella Anthem written by Ayn Rand, the setting here is also a utopian society where they follow the rules and don’t share uniqueness. Throughout both stories, similar themes are shared.
There where many Utopias, here are a few. The Rappites. In 1816, the Rappites came from the Shakers, one of the bigger Utopian communities. They isolated themselves from other communities. George Rapp Lead 600 people to live in the community.
That water can also be the water that people drink; there were tons of chemicals in it and for people to drink it would be deadly. “In In the Encarta’s artist rendition of the early industrial plant air and water pollution are a key factor, however that factory is in the middle of a town; the noise ‘pollution’ fills the air and can annoy the residents” (Document 3). According to Kagan (2012), "Human beings yearn for security, order, and a sense of belonging to something larger than themselves, somethings autonomy and individuality- which autocracies provide than democracies" (p.23). This statement is true especially in time of danger (Kagan, 2012). For example, Nazi Germany was a result of when human beings yearned security over democracy. Hitler promised employment, security, and to protect Germany's well-being. There were Germans that were skeptical of his world view, but his regime provided jobs and welfare for struggling individuals (Orlow,2016).
Utopia By: Adrian In are community we have four different societies Serpent Section, Swan district, The Divergents, and Dragon Dimension. In each of our societies we all have different laws and schools. In Serpent Section he has science based school, so mechanics, scientist, and stuff like that.
Water pollution is a serious issue as not only is water the most precious natural resource, but all sources of water support life that is very necessary for the survival of the planet. Water pollution destroys life and ecology and such damage is irreparable. Those who are still not serious about water pollution must also remember that the pollutants present in water not only destroy the life in the rivers and oceans, but also affect our food chain. Many people have the wrong notion that since they are not disposing the pollutants in the water they are not to blame. These people forget that 70% of the earth is covered by water, and any activity on the land can wash to the seas and oceans.
LITERATURE REVIEW What is water pollution? As the country is becoming more and more populated, the demands for social services have increased significantly. This has led to an increase of the pollution in many developing towns such as Ga-kgapane. The most disturbing and problematic forms of pollution in Ga-kgapane is the pollution of the natural streams.
