Greetings Devin! Once again, I would like to express how much I enjoyed reading your insightful post for this week's discussion forum. The ideas you highlighted for both Medea and Antigone were some that I also found to be the case in my own discussion post. Moreover, we both even chose Antigone as the individual who we thought had the strongest argument. With that said, I would like to explore your post further and compare it to some of the ideas and points I had in my own post. Right from the start, you clearly express that Antigone's purpose in the Greek play, Antigone, was to give her brother Polyneices a proper burial. Of course, you also included that this purpose was going against the law, since the current king, Creon, had decreed that Polyneices would receive no proper burial due to raising an army against their nation.
