As I walked into the cafeteria, I caught a whiff of the food being prepared in the cafeteria and thought to myself, “Why can’t we go off-campus to get lunch?” While SLA, the lunch program at Catholic High, provides the school lunches, there could be an alternative solution to this. Unfortunately, students are detained at school during lunch hours and are not able to leave campus during lunch forcing them to be served by SLA or bring their own lunch. If Catholic High School were to introduce an open-campus lunch, students and faculty would benefit greatly. While SLA does provide the lunch at CHS, they do not live up to their standard of “high quality, nutritious, and cost efficient”.
I am going to be writing about my opinion on vending machines at school. I think vending machines should be at school. Vending machines would be great at school because athletes or kids that are outside should be hungry after playing and sweating a lot. First I think vending machines provide a greater selection of food. It would be great ,because If they wont like school food they will have vending machines choice of other options.
Chapter six goes on to talk about hunger and how we see it in schools. Finally, chapter eight focuses on changing the school food system and introducing healthier options. The first section to be reviewed is chapter five. This chapter talks about the factors of why children may choose to stay away from school food. The main factors include quality and variety of food, time available for eating, cafeteria environment, price, alternatives, and the stigma attached to free and reduced lunch.
Last but not least the fairness to all students especially ones that only meal they get to eat each day is the one they
Children all across the U.S. are forced daily to eat substandard, school-provided lunches. Attaining these lunches are an expensive and time-consuming process. Often, children don’t even enjoy or eat them. Therefore, kids should be allowed to bring their own lunches to school. To start with, most students do not enjoy school-provided lunches, or are allergic to them; this leads to children throwing away from lunches and not eating.
Lets begin with preamble because it is the first part. The preamble explains why the Continental Congress wrote the Declaration of Independence. The people should be able to take action if injustice is occurred. The declaration of natural rights is next. It states that all human being get these rights and the government will be alright with this.
The school lunch is very unpleasant and letting the students will benefit them more .Sometimes when you are waiting in line you notice an unusual substance dripping off the meat and you’re not even sure what kind of meat they use. The onion rings aren’t even onions, they look and taste more like uncooked potatoes. Crown Point High School should let their students go out of school to grab a bit to eat. Letting their students out to grab a bite to eat would teach them responsibility and let them have some fun.
Wouldn't it be marvelous if schools had a food court? As excited as that sounds, almost all schools don't have food courts provided. Only the richest school districts provide students and staff an inside food court. However, lunch time is an important meal, and it should be spent the way students like. Whether it is a McDonalds hamburger, or a Panera bread salad special, the students should have the freedom to choose.
In the year 2010, President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama created the “Hunger-Free Kids Act” of 2010, which has created problems among students. In the year 2012, Michelle Obama also created the “Let’s Move Campaign” in order to reduce childhood obesity, and to give students access to healthy food in their school lunches. The “Hunger-Free Kids Act” means that no student should go hungry, and the “Let’s Move Campaign” makes the lunches healthier. Unfortunately, due to the quality and quantity of the meals that the students now receive, more kids are refusing to eat school lunches, and remain hungry during school hours. Not only does this outrage students, it also infuriates parents, teachers and staff as well.
The Declaration, it seems, may have ignited the fire under which the Bill of Rights and the Constitution were written. The Declaration is in large part a summary of what the Bill of Rights stands for. The Bill of Rights in the United States is the name by which the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution are known. While the Declaration offered independence from Britain and made general statements, the Bill of Rights offers conclusive and specific rights and laws, from freedom of speech, press and religion, to the right to keep and bear arms; the freedom of assembly; the freedom to petition; prohibits unreasonable search and seizure; cruel and unusual punishment; and compelled self-incrimination. The first ten amendments are truly and expansion on what the first fifty six signers of the Declaration had
Declaration: I hold these truths to be self-evident, that all students are created equal and are given by their Creator the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of whatever makes them happy. In order to have control over these rights teachers and parents should understand that us students

To begin with, the taste alone of school lunches is beyond unsatisfactory. The meals provided by public schools are not appetizing. There exists a tangible disconnect between the enticing, nutritious meals advertised on the school board’s menus and what the students actually receive—pathetic portions and lukewarm meals slapped onto a tray. Children’s complaints about school lunches are often seen as trite. However, while common, they are not any less accurate.
Have you ever wondered if you could ever change the school lunches in the Public schools? Well you’re not the only one, many other people thought about changing the way you eat at lunch and started to change it. Some trials have failed but some have succeeded at the trail for their public school. But some administrators what it to come to all schools, for the fact that they are losing money because kids stopped eating lunches at school.
Buddhism and Abortion Abortion is a huge controversial topic around the world. The controversy is centered around morals and what is considered to be right, wrong and okay for certain circumstances. For example, circumstances that might make it okay for a woman to have an abortion is if she were raped and a child were conceived and she could not support the child or if she accidentally conceived or if she could lose her life birthing the child. The topic of abortion becomes complicated when religion is involved because of different religious views and beliefs on abortion. Abortion itself is, "a medical procedure that ends a pregnancy" (Parenthood, Planned).
