Schools should have open campus lunches. It gives the students a break for the day from the entire thing that is stressing them out. It gives the students a mental break. 73.4% of kids with open campus lunches have a better day compared to kids that don’t have open campus lunches. If students had open campus lunches it would be less stressful on the school cooks.
Growing up healthy eating is encouraged for many people. Some debate that schools should encourage healthy eating as well. However others believe that it is not a schools choice about what children eat. Schools should not have whole wheat lunches because children should be able to make the decisions of what they eat by themselves. Whole wheat lunches cost too much for schools.

You would be starving and not focusing on school work. Therefore schools should offer types of foods they serve at lunch because kids with allergies need certain food, kids with diets might need certain foods for their diets, and kids might not like the food so they waste it.
The school lunch is very unpleasant and letting the students will benefit them more .Sometimes when you are waiting in line you notice an unusual substance dripping off the meat and you’re not even sure what kind of meat they use. The onion rings aren’t even onions, they look and taste more like uncooked potatoes. Crown Point High School should let their students go out of school to grab a bit to eat. Letting their students out to grab a bite to eat would teach them responsibility and let them have some fun.
I believe we should not have restrictions on school lunches. Feeding kids good food two times a day for five days a week will not kill them. Or maybe it will because some students don’t eat the crappy food. Studies shows cafeteria money as decreased very much since they changed food regulation. Kids are not eating lunch or they are bringing their own food from home.

Dear USD 305 School Board, Do you want to provide students with a second lunch because they didn't get fed the appropriate amount? Do you want to hear the parents complain about their kids saying how hungry they are? Well, recently I have noticed that most of the students in the school complain about the school lunches and how they are still hungry. This issue needs to be addressed because as you get older, your body needs more nutrients. Also, this is a problem because then the school is giving out food that kids are going to waste because they don't like it.
Another reason why school lunches should be free is because Children need nutritionists to grow. Lacking in the nutrients they need can decrease their learning abilities. There are many evidences that shows children who are hungry are not able to focus, so they have a low attention span, behavioral issues, discipline issues in the school. So nutrition is critical for a child 's brain and for concentration and learning at school. Having breakfast and lunch can increase their chances to succeed in school and in life
To begin with, the taste alone of school lunches is beyond unsatisfactory. The meals provided by public schools are not appetizing. All of the children that live in America are entitled to a free public education. A lunch is provided that costs a reduced fee for those who attend a public school. Everyday thousands of kids go to school and mindlessly eat this lunch. A lunch that is filled with frozen, processed foods that all share the same unpronounceable chemicals in their ingredient list. I personally believe that if schools started to add more natural, fresh, whole foods into their lunches it would be helpful to our societies growing obesity epidemic.
