A. Hillary Clinton critics on the human rights abuse under One Child Policy.
China’s one-child policy, initiated to limit China’s rapid population growth, has resulted in the fundamental human rights abuses. Due to the cultural stigma of having female children, the strict policy has led to millions of female infants being aborted, abandoned, or killed. As China struggles with population control, families are faced with the necessity of bearing male children, who perceived as being more valuable to the family and who are often charged with the care of their elderly parents. Instead of bring a ‘pros’, one child policy of China is not only make the problems in the domestic area such as become the cause of economic unstable and demographic unbalance in China. This policy is much brings the ‘cons’ surface not only in China but around the world regarding to the women’s right abuse.
In this case, Hillary Clinton is the one who strongly condemn the human right abuse against woman that occur under the one child policy of China. In the United Nation conference that held in Beijing on 1995, Clinton once giving her speech and expressed her ‘feeling of solidarity’ toward human rights abuse especially woman rights.

It is a violation of human rights when babies are denied food, or drowned, or suffocated, or their spines broken, simply because they are born girls, when women and girls are sold into slavery or prostitution for human greed. It is a violation of human rights when women are doused with gasoline, set on fire and burned to death because their marriage dowries are deemed too small. When thousands of women are raped in their own communities and when thousands of women are subjected to rape as a tactic or prize of war."- Hillary
